WHAT ARE SKIN BOOSTERS?​

'Skin Boosters' are more commonly known by the brand name 'PROFHILO' they are designed to deliver deep skin hydration, improve skin quality, and promote a natural glow & radiance. Skin Boosters involve 5 small injections either side of the face also known as 'The 5 Point Facelift'. Profhilo is a well known, popular brand name but we do offer various different skin boosters with varied price ranges. ​

Skin Boosters help to remodel ageing/sagging tissue, adds Hyaluronic acid (HA) back into the dermis naturally lost with age. It is basically like injecting your skin care directly underneath your skin where it is most needed & beneficial rather than just the superficial area that we treat ourselves with our home skincare products. Most common treatment areas are the face, neck & hands although can be used to treat other areas too (contact us for more info). Although it is not a replacement for botox, it can be combined with anti-wrinkle treatments to take your results to the next level!

It is recommended to get a minimum of 2 sessions (some people may require 3 depending on various factors such as age, skin condition etc) ideally 4 weeks apart, results can last up to 12 months if not longer. During the first 2-3 weeks bio-stimulation improves elastin and collagen to improve overall skin texture and laxity. The longevity of results will vary between individuals however, results are expected to show almost immediately with full results showing 3-4 weeks post treatment.
